AWS - HowTo - Connect to AWS EC2 Instance via browser based client

 

In this blog, let us see how to connect to an EC2 instance via browser based client

Pre-requisite:

• An active AWS account
• Access permissions to AWS EC2 management console

Steps:

• Login & Navigate to the AWS EC2 Console
• select the instance to which you would like to connect from a browser

• Click on Connect

• Watch a new tab in your browser opening up with the connection established to your instance

Note:

This works for only Amazon Linux 2 or above and Ubuntu as on this date
